-Workshop on Investment Management & Asset Liability Management (ALM) System

      First Workshop on Investment Management and Asset Liability Management System for SCARDBs and select PCARDBs was jointly organized by the Federation and BIRD, Mangalore from 22-24 February 2012 at Mangalore. In all 23 participants from 5 SCARDBs and select PCARDBs from Kerala, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Gujarat States and Pondicherry (U.T.) were present. Our Chairman inaugurated the Workshop and Shri K. K. Ravindran, Managing Director guided the participants on resource mopping

- International Year of Cooperatives: 2012

     The United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution declaring 2012 the UN International Year of Co-operatives on December 18, 2009. The UN resolution entitled 'Co-operatives in Social Development' recognises the diversity of the co-operative movement around the world and urges governments to take measures aimed at creating a supportive environment for the development of co-operatives. http://www.2012.coop

     The UN has created a unique logo and also produced a distinctive slogan to celebrate the IYC – ‘Co-operative Enterprises Build A Better World’.
